A New Healing Paradigm

During June 2005 the USA adopted an anti-natural therapies law called Codex Alimentarius which is designed to put all natural therapists, including aromatherapists, out of business by December 31, 2009.  Under Codex Alimentarius, essential oils are labeled not as beneficial healing agents but as toxins that need to be regulated by pharmaceutical companies and medical doctors.

This Codex is slowly being implemented in the USA and Canada at the expense of natural organic foods, natural organic herbs and natural health practitioners. Please read this very informative article by a former executive director for the Neurotherapy and Biofeedback Certification Board (NBCB), past president of the Natural Therapies Certification Board (NTCB) and past president of the Federation of Spiritual Healer Licensing Boards (FSHLB), reprinted here with permission.

Codex Alimentarius and Natural Therapies

We suggest you subscribe to the NTCB News to keep fully posted on current  developments as the Codex Alimentarius Commission, the FDA, FTC and the drug industry attempt to implement their rules and regulations to put you and the rest of the industry out of business. We have only begun to fight!

In the meantime, a new natural therapies paradigm is needed so natural therapists can practice their art and science without fear of prosecution and harassment by licensing boards in their state, province or country. This new paradigm classifies natural therapies professionals under new approved headings that comply with all government laws, rules and regulations at the state, provincial and national levels. These headings are:

  1. Pain release or pain management
  2. Stress reduction or stress management
  3. Detoxification
  4. Peak performance
  5. Quality of life enhancement

The Natural Therapies Coach Workshops Network (NTCW) was founded in 2005 to help alternative healthcare professionals resolve major issues with:

  1. Licensing boards in their state, province or country
  2. USA Federal Drug Administration (FDA) and Federal Trade Commission (FTC)
  3. Health Canada (HC) and the Canadian Trade Commission (CTC)
  4. Codex Alimentarius Commission (CAC)
  5. Anti-Natural Health legislation

Also in 2005 NTCW founded several organizations to teach the new paradigm to professionals within those professions. All of these groups teach the new paradigm through their correspondence courses and workshops. They all remain active within the NTCW Network. You are free to use any one of them to satisfy your requirements for certification in any of the new paradigms or in the named profession. These organizations are:

  1. Aromatherapy Coach
  2. Bioenergetics Coach
  3. Biofeedback Coach
  4. Bionetics Coach
  5. Bioresonance Coach
  6. Coach 4 Nutrition
  7. Detoxification Coach
  8. HealerCoach
  9. Homeopath Coach
  10. Hypnotism Coach
  11. My Reiki Coach
  12. Naturopath Coach
  13. Natural Therapies Coach
  14. Reflexology Coach

Additionally three spiritual healer coaching boards were founded to help natural therapies professionals become licensed as spiritual healers using the Healer Coach curriculum:

  1. Healer Coach
  2. My Reiki Coach
  3. Quantum Healing Hands

There are three ways natural therapies practitioners can make this paradigm work for them:

  1. Become NTCB, CHCB, CNCCB or CDTCB Certified
  2. Become a Federation Licensed Spiritual Healer
  3. Become both

NTCB is the Natural Therapies Certification Board. CHCB is the Certified Health Coach Board. CNCCB is the Certified Nutrition Coach Certification Board. CDTCB is the Certified Detoxification Therapists Certification Board though they also certify detoxification coaches.
